Data deletion

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Flyfluencer does not keep a user account database. Optional Threads mode stores only mention media ids, a short username/time reply log, and the fly account token on the host that runs the server.

How to request deletion

  1. Email the operator of this instance (the person who deployed the server) and include your Threads username and, if you have them, mention post URLs.
  2. The operator deletes matching ids from the Threads state file (data/threads/state.json) or removes the file entirely.
  3. Public replies already posted on Threads stay on Threads until you or the fly account hide or delete them there. We cannot un-publish Meta’s copies from this page.

If you run this software yourself, delete data/threads/state.json and revoke the fly token in the Meta developer dashboard.
